Repro Enterprise

Repro Enterprise covers the entire Content Management and Delivery requirements of a reporting lifecycle. It provides the capability of managing reports and related items through a browser-based access. The items include data source connections, reports, user configurations, archival policies, scheduling, role management and caching policies. There is provision for configuring the access mode - users can opt for 'on-demand' access or 'push-based' subscription. Also, the delivery mechanism (like, email, fax, web-access) can be configured through the Repro Enterprise.

Repro Enterprise Components

Robust Security Infrastructure

Repro Enterprise provides a security infrastructure that has a granular and flexible configuration mechanism. It provides connectivity with external user administration systems and directory services to maintain user security attributes including authentication, authorization, object access, and general user attributes. This avoids replicating the user information across systems.

Caching Mechanism

The caching policy in Repro Enterprise can be set a various levels of granularity, from course-grained role level to fine-grained report level. For explicitly cached content, the system supports automatic version content so that older versions are still available if users need to see information from certain points in time.

Report Scheduling

Reports can be scheduled to run periodically or at a specified date and time. The same report can be scheduled to run multiple times with different parameters, formats, frequencies and to various destinations. Reports can be scheduled to run across one or more heterogeneous servers.

Multi-Channel Delivery

The user can choose to receive reports through a combination of various delivery mechanisms (email, fax or as a report available in the server). For example, he can set a rule which allows him to receive an email whenever a new report has been created and also a faxed copy of the same.
It is possible to create rule-driven fallback logic, which enables the user to specify the fallback delivery mode, if the preferred option fails.

Report Archival

Repro supports a flexible, policy-based archiving system where Repro administrators can specify archiving policies based on users or output format or location in the generated report hierarchy. It is also possible to configure the retention period and a provision to view the archived versions.

Role-based Reports

A report may contain a collection of sections, combinations of which may be visible to various roles. Repro achieves this without the need to create separate templates for the distinct roles. The pagination, internal hyperlinks and table of contents are taken care of by the reporting engine in a seamless manner.

Administration Dashboard

Repro provides a consolidated web based administration dashboard which provides the administrator a single window to monitor the entire enterprise reporting application.
