Repro offers open standards based, platform-independent, fast, robust, scalable and extensible reporting solution, which can easily fit into any application environment. It allows a centralized environment for capturing and organizing enterprise-wide reporting requirements and provides a scalable and tightly managed platform for scheduled, as well as on-demand report generation in choice of output formats, and web-enabled delivery mechanisms. Access to reports (or part of a report) can be controlled by a role based access control policy.

It has been built using industry standard technologies, with the objective being a one-stop solution for mission-critical, enterprise reporting requirements, providing a powerful web-based reporting generation and management capabilities.

Repro is horizontally scalable, which means that its throughput can be scaled up by adding application servers to the Repro server cluster. The basic premise of Repro architecture is to provide robustness by allowing redundancy and avoiding single point of failure, while making the backbone flexible enough to scale up as demanded by business needs.
